how is the position of cormorants there in germany? here people´s reaction towards them is mostly negative, because it eats so much fish, they have a huge impact on the looks of their new territory (specially the plants) and cause of the changes it impacts on other species

One of the most unlikable fact of this species must be it´s shit. the trees on which they shit upon, die soon, so everytime people see a herd of them on their familiar spot, the place is mostly covered in "white" and surrounded by deadwood..

Fro some time they were protected because they almost were vanished here. Only fishers hate them. I have seen these 'shit' places in other contries.

but I understood they mostly eat "trashfishies"? you know, ones the fishermen are not after? at least in finland that seems to be the case, but Im no expert.
